Proving Indoor Air Quality Solutions in the Treasure Valley
One of the most important aspects of your home, your office, and your health is having adequate indoor air quality. Poor quality air can affect you, your loved ones, and your employees in more ways than one.
What Is Indoor Air Quality?
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) defines indoor air quality as the air quality within and around building and structures in relation to the health and comfort of its occupants. Room temperature, humidity levels, ventilation, and chemical or biological contaminants found in the air inside a building are all variables of indoor air quality.
Common issues that can result in poor air quality in your home or office building:
- Dust mites
- Mold and mildew caused by moisture damage and high humidity
- Indoor pets
- Insufficient ventilation
- Chemical cleaning products and pesticides
- Building materials containing asbestos, lead, and formaldehyde
Symptoms of Poor Air Quality Indoors
Pollutants building up in your home or office building can cause both unpleasant odors and serious health problems, such as:
- Respiratory issues
- Worsening allergies
- Flu-like symptoms
- Heart disease
- Other long-term health conditions

AirRanger Filtration System
The AirRanger filtration system is a polarized-media air cleaner that installs directly into the existing air filter rack of your HVAC system. If you have a 1” filter rack, this system can remove more debris and floating particulate matter from the air, giving you cleaner, healthier air that’s easier to breathe and more comfortable for you and your loved ones. The system works by using a polarized screen to electronically charge particles in the air as they pass through. The charged particles then stick to the opposite-charged collection media located immediately behind it, and the opposite charge bonds the two together, giving it a tight hold that firmly secures it in the media.
The AirRanger can even help filter out even the smallest floating particles, including bacteria, viruses, and mold spores. While the filtration media in an average filter isn’t small enough to capture these sub-micron sized particles, the system does still electronically charge them. When they re-enter the air in your home, the charge allows them to bond with larger particulate matter, and that larger matter is then trapped in the media when it cycles back through the system. Thus, this system actually helps eliminate even the tiniest and potentially most harmful types of airborne debris. And the best part: changing the filter is as simple as changing a regular air filter in your HVAC system.
