Sky, from Diamond, did an excellent and thorough job in estimating a replacement HVAC system. He was certainly the most knowledgeable estimator I have encountered of the four companies that gave me an estimate. He counted all the floor vents, checked the sizing of the ducting in the crawlspace to properly size the system. As I am an engineer, he drew a diagram to explain the balance of the airflow into and out of the system and what could potentially happen if the system is not designed correctly. It is very comforting to experience such competence.

Our AC started making a loud noise and I immediately called Diamond Heating for a service call. They made an appointment for a few hours later. I was notified of the technician's name, picture, and info. He was prompt and checked out the unit. Unfortunately, it was on its last leg. He researched to see if he could find parts or what could be done before the decision was made that it had to be replaced (unit was 51 years old and had done its job well). He made an appointment for later that day for someone to come and measure and secure a new unit. Andrew was very prompt and helpful.

Diamond Heating was the 4th and last company I was receiving a quote from to replace my A/C unit. The first company that came out to service my unit told me my unit was undersized and was failing to keep up with demand and was at the end of its life. They gave me a hefty quote to replace my unit and went on their way. When Paul showed up, he asked what was going on and how come we were looking to replace our unit as it was only nine years old. He quickly determined the unit was properly sized and that replacing it was unnecessary. He was honest and thorough, which in turn saved me $15-20 thousand dollars by not replacing my system.
